Prior to kickoff of the Monday Night Football game at State Farm Stadium, the Host Committee presented the latest Super Bowl Legacy Grant to the Foundation for Senior Living, which offers important services for adults and their caregivers.
The $50,000 Legacy Grant will support the organization’s ReCreacion program, which provides a safe and fun environment for adults living with a physical, cognitive or developmental disability or medical condition.
The Super Bowl Legacy Grant Program, presented by Arizona Public Service – APS, PetSmart, Salt River Project, and The Thunderbirds, provides grants to local nonprofits with proven track records of benefiting underserved Arizonans.
The program concentrates on four pillars: education, health and wellness, sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion and social justice. More than $2 million will be awarded to nonprofits across Arizona by kickoff of Super Bowl LVII on February 12.
