PHOENIX, AZ (May 10, 2022): The Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee today announced Avnet, Ak-Chin and Gila River Indian Communities as Official Partners.
The partners each share the vision of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee in delivering a premiere experience and creating lasting social and economic impact across local communities. Each partnership will elevate the Super Bowl LVII experience in Arizona.
Avnet, the leading global technology distributor and solutions provider will serve as a presenting partner of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee Volunteer Program as well as showcase its technologies during events leading up to the Super Bowl.

Ak-Chin is proud to be partnering with the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee for a second time. The Ak-Chin Indian Community is nestled into the Santa Cruz Valley of Southern Arizona, 35 miles south of Phoenix in the northwestern part of Pinal County. In partnership with the Host Committee, they will spotlight and recognize Arizona non-profit organizations that create unique programs and positive impacts in the education and health and wellness space.

Gila River Indian Community is home to the indigenous O’otham and Pee Posh people. Alongside the Super Bowl Host Committee, they will host a large family-friendly fan event, including a “Community Day” specifically for Gila Community members. Football-themed activities, NFL Alumni appearances, family-friendly interactive activities, and co-branded giveaway items will all be a part of this event.

This is the fourth time Arizona has hosted the Super Bowl, joining only four other cities (South Florida, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay) with this distinction. The last Super Bowl hosted in Arizona in 2015 saw 120,000 visitors traveling to join the festivities in person, resulting in an economic impact totaling $719 million.
