FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Opening Night is the traditional “media day” that the NFL hosts for thousands of members of the media.  Now fans will have the opportunity to see the Super Bowl LVII participating teams in public for the first time in Arizona at Super Bowl Opening Night presented by Fast Twitch on Monday, February 6 at Footprint Center.  Doors open at 4pm MT and the first team takes the stage at 6pm MT.  Don’t miss your chance to see players and coaches of the Super Bowl teams address fans and thousands of media members! 

Tickets are $20 for fans of all ages and all Ticketmaster convenience fees are included in the ticket price. 

All games and attractions are included in the ticket price, except for any purchases made at NFL Shop and the concessions stands.

The only authorized seller for tickets online is Ticketmaster. The NFL is not affiliated with any other vendor for the purchase of Opening Night tickets.

Doors open at 4pm MT, there will be a pre-event hour of programming from 5-6pm MT with hosts and DJs and the first team takes the stage for their introductions and media interviews at 6pm MT.  A joint team moment will follow at 7:15pm MT and the 2nd team will begin their media interviews at 8pm MT.  The event will conclude by 9pm MT. 

The NFL has partnered with MixHalo to replace in-ear radios at Opening Night and instead provide a feed of all interviews that fans can access via their OnePass app.  Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones to access these feeds.

NFL OnePass QR code is MANDATORY to enter the Footprint Center and allows fans to register their information (and any minors) one time at Opening Night and “check-in” to all the attractions where content including green screen photos and videos can be delivered to a fan via their email. Check-ins also allow fans to enter contests including the chance to win tickets to Super Bowl LVII, release liability when participating in interactive games and enter for instant prizes.

The players participating in Super Bowl LVII, the AFC and NFC Champions, will NOT be signing autographs at Opening Night.

We will however host other active NFL Players and Legends to make appearances and sign autographs.  The scheduled list of players signing autographs will be posted on in the NFL OnePass app starting February 1, 2023.  Please note:  All player appearances are subject to change without notice or refund.

Fans can go to the Mobility Assistance counter in the Main Level Lobby for answers to questions specific to the Accessibility Program, related information, and a power outlet for recharging power wheelchairs.

No outside food and beverage is permitted.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase within the concession area.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

All items carried by fans will be carefully inspected and potentially not permitted into Super Bowl Experience. To provide a safe environment and to expedite fan entry into the Phoenix Convention Center, the NFL limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the venue.  Items purchased at the NFL Shop presented by VISA will be allowed into the Super Bowl Experience. 

The following prohibited list is not all-inclusive. All items are subject to security discretion:

  • Alcohol
  • Animals (Service Animals for Guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals, including Emotional Support Animals are prohibited)
  • Banners, signs (any object that obstructs the view of others) 
  • Luggage
  • Bags larger than 18″ x 16″ x 8″  
  • Glass or aluminum containers, thermoses, cups, and beverage containers of any kind (unless purchased at an NFL venue) 
  • Camera with removeable lenses more than 6″
  • Professional video/audio recorders, except for credentialed media 
  • Chairs, stools, or other seating devices 
  • Coolers (Coolers for medical purposes are permitted)
  • Laser Pointers
  • Food or Beverage (Unless for Medical Purpose)
  • Illegal substances
  • Mace, pepper spray or any aerosol
  • Motorized scooters, hover boards, skateboards or self-propelled items except for ADA or medical purposes
  • Noisemakers and horns, whistles, musical instruments of any kind
  • Promotional items with commercial slogans or identification without written consent from the NFL
  • Selfie Sticks and tripods
  • Weapons including firearms, knives, electronic stunning devices.  
  • Fireworks, explosives, or other combustible items
  • Any other item deemed potentially dangerous or inappropriate in managements sole discretion will not be permitted.

Note: Any items not permitted entry into the Phoenix Convention Center will be the responsibility of the attendee and cannot be accepted or checked by the NFL or the Phoenix Police Department. We urge fans to secure these items in their vehicles or hotel rooms. Confiscated items will not be returned, instead they will be disposed of.  

Smoking is prohibited in the Phoenix Convention Center.

Any other item deemed potentially dangerous or unsafe by event security will not be permitted.

Cameras and Binoculars – Small cameras and binoculars will be allowed. No spectator cameras with lenses more than six inches (6”) long will be permitted. Camcorders are not allowed. Binocular cases and camera bags are not permitted.

The cooperation, patience and understanding of fans is greatly appreciated by the National Football League and the Phoenix Convention Center. 

Are cameras and video cameras allowed into the Super Bowl Experience?
